Mike Curran is an Accounts Manager at Phoenix Graphics Inc. and has been with the company since 2009. As the principal point of contact between the customer and the company, Mike’s duties include overseeing and managing business development, sales, order process, workflow, scheduling, customer support, and customer satisfaction.
Mike started as an apprentice plate maker 1977 and worked his way up through the company until he and 2 co-workers purchased the company in 1984. He helped drive the company into the digital age, implementing computer graphic platforms and technologies, transitioned into multiple Photopolymer mediums for plate production and product solutions, managed the company’s top line accounts and relationships, until he sold the company in 2006. Mike then began JPS Imaging in 2006 which produces Thermal Forming Tools for the Polystyrene Packaging Industry using Photoengraving technologies.
His education includes specialized courses with RIT, including printing and packaging sciences. He is also a journeyman in graphic communications.
When Mike is not at work, you can find him with his wife Laurie, his three children and 7 grandchildren. He’s currently living in the City of Rochester and enjoys a game of Golf, traveling, and of course spending time with his grandchildren.
